The Puerto Rican Parade in Hartford was an unforgettable experience—vibrant, joyful, and full of life. Even though I only spent a short time photographing the event, the energy was contagious, and the people were incredibly welcoming. You didn’t need to have Puerto Rican roots to feel like you belonged.

I was moved by the pride, music, colors, and culture on full display. It reminded me of how powerful it is when communities come together to celebrate their identity.
